Strategically nestled at 9VHC+QR2, Cebu City, Maharlicup is more than just a café; it's a breathtaking retreat that combines exquisite local flavors with an atmosphere rich in tranquility. The moment you step into this serene space, you are greeted by a mesmerizing view that perfectly complements the delightful culinary experience awaiting you.

As a café focused on serving authentic Filipino breakfast and merienda delights, Maharlicup brings you pared-back, rustic charm that lets the food take center stage. Among its popular offerings, the Humsilog stands out as a must-try, intriguing diners with its flavorful simplicity. The Putosikwate combo is another favorite, marrying the rich, velvety taste of local chocolate with the complementary sweetness of puto, creating a breakfast experience that transcends the ordinary.

The ambiance is simply enchanting: imagine enjoying your meal as the gentle breeze sweeps through, and scenic views stretch out before you. This café is not just about the food; it transforms each meal into a picturesque experience. Jeremiah Causing, affectionately known as The Gaymer, perfectly encapsulated this sentiment when he commented, "My gosh. I had this for breakfast and I was full for a whole day!" His words reflect the hearty portions that Maharlicup prides itself on, ensuring that you leave satisfied.

Customers rave about the atmosphere, with Jill Travenner highlighting it as a "spectacular place" with a "breathtaking view" and a cozy vibe that makes it ideal for a stopover. However, it's not just the stunning vistas or the accommodating setting that keeps guests coming back; it's the distinctive taste of local flavors. Noel Mcraft aptly mentions the "cool and refreshing" breeze, making Maharlicup a perfect escape that wraps you in comfort while you enjoy your meal. Ella Gee, while appreciating the ambiance, noted that the budbud was "really good," showcasing the café's ability to highlight local snacks that stir nostalgia and comfort.

Convenience is another pillar of Maharlicup's charm. Situated at Sidlak Point, you’ll find it an ideal starting point for exploring other local gems, such as the popular Humba Heaven. Peter Quinineza encourages patrons to soak in the scenic views while enjoying the local offerings, making it a one-stop destination for groups looking for a complete experience.

The view together with the merienda was amazing. The sikwate was extremely bitter even with the 3 packets of sugar, the budbud was really good though. Definitely a good hangout away from the city.

It's probably one of the best places to be if you want some scenic breakfast and not that far from the city within TCH. Price are reasonable. Must recommend their budbud set. Make sure to have the local chocolate! It's located within sidlak point where there are other shops like Humba Heaven, so if your companion wants something heavier, then it's a one-stop place for your group. Very scenic view, especially when you're here during the day. There's not much to see during the evening, though, but certainly, sunsets look nice here. Parking is veeeery limited though, you got to be lucky. There's a parking aide around.

View: Food & Service: Maharlicup has a stunning view and cozy atmosphere. It was a bit cold when we visited, but the panoramic view made up for it. The hot chocolate was a bit too bitter for my taste, but the pics we took turned out great and we mostly just chilled and enjoyed the view. Note that Maharlicup shares space with other food stalls, so it's like a carenderia, but the view from the balcony is worth checking out. All in all, a great spot to relax and take in the surroundings.
